Plaque is a sticky, clear substance that continually forms on teeth and gums, and is caused by bacteria, saliva and food particles left on the surface of teeth. If not removed regularly, it can lead to the development of dental cavities and diseases like gingivitis. The damaging effect of dental plaque can be prevented by removing it from the surface of each tooth (from both the inside and outside faces), on a daily basis.
Elgydium® Children’s Toothpastes contain Fluorinol® (Nicomethanol hydrofluoride) a patented organic fluoride which re-mineralises and re-enforces tooth enamel much faster than traditional mineral fluorides. Fluorinol®, which is completely safe for children’s teeth, rapidly and firmly binds onto tooth enamel within the first minute of brushing, offering more effective protection. Elgydium® Children’s Toothpastes also contain siliglycol, which forms a protective film over teeth preventing plaque from binding to teeth.
Elgydium® Children’s Toothpastes contain no peppermint or sugar and are the ideal daily solution for the protection of your child’s teeth and gums.
Directions for use: Carefully brush teeth twice a day, preferably after meals and especially before bedtime. Use a pea sized amount of toothpaste. Do not swallow.
